The Four Horsemen of the Infocalypse is a term for a pattern of argument where the worst possible threats are used to justify limiting privacy: terrorism, drugs, crimes against children or organized crime. The point is not to trivialize those threats, but to show how they can be used to push for weakening everyone’s rights.
